Bernardo Kastrup
Bernardo Kastrup is the executive director of the Essentia Foundation, where his work has been leading the modern renaissance of analytic idealism--the notion that reality is essentialy mental. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy and another Ph.D. in computer engineering.
I came to Dr. Kastrup's significant mind through his books, where he's formulated his metaphysics into a clear and compelling argument for the only reasonable account of reality currently on the table. When presented as such, it's eye-opening how our unexamined ontological assumptions, typically grounded in physicalism (materialism), taint the way we view the world and our place within it. The implications are profound.
Not only is Dr. Kastrup one of the most significant minds of the past 100 years (and beyond), he is equally thoughtful and insightful, and incredibly eloquent in conversation. I encourage you to listen to any of the podcasts on which he's interviewed. His appearance on the 'I AM' podcast with Jonny Wilkinson is a good place to start.
Science Ideated and The Idea of the World are wonderfully enlightening books, among his many others.
